It isn't the chain gun
The character looks awesome, especially the leg armor.

Thank you. I did put a lot of work on his legs.
Do I need to call an ambulance?
No, it looks worse than it is.. ;-)
Getting better
Nice going with the weapons, but I think you can do better! Let's see some characters wielding the weapons! :-)
I've been trying, but character's are very much more detailed than weapons aren't they. I thought about trying to draw up armor sets just to get used to the human shape and positions :)
Exellent piece
However in the comments you say she is very thin. Like other said, she looks a bit on the chubby side. Even though she might be wearing many clothes, there could be other clues to tell me her figure. If I look at her exposed parts, the lower arms, hands, chest and face, they don't look thin. I would expect more angles, more pronounced bone structure like knucles, cheekbones and colar bones. You could perhaps make tighten up the belt and lower her shoulders a bit or elevate her head.
As it is, I like it very much, especially with the story to go with it.
The horse is nice
But did someone shoot a spoon in its head?
XD It's an inside joke. It's a Unispoon.
Nice work
Some critisisms:
Both Biteys look too muscular I think, narrow shoulders and a little belly would look better. Also, even though the 2nd one looks impressive, it isn't congruent making it unbelievable. I don't 'get' the very detailed body combined with the stylized white eyes. Also some hair on the torso could make the different parts of the create fit better?
Looks solid
Nice posture and the smile is perfect
