Awesome

If you're looking for inspiration for more details:
I see that you put a kind of box/jerrycan on the front of the tank, it looks a little out of place. I might help to visualize where actual tank components should be on this tank, like engine(s), crew positions, windows and/or sensor arrays, storage space etc. These details don't have to be realistic but adding them can make the vehicle look even more believable.

I know this tank is kinda smooth, so you might not want to add all kinds of objects to it, but its also about shape. I think the turret looks perfect, the boxy hull could use some more shape and/or details.

Now I'm gonna add you to my favs. :-)

FabriceSalomon responds:

useful, thanks.

Divine effects?

It reminds me of the visual effects of the Diablo II cutscenes. The white thing could be a cool angel wing..

gr33bl3r responds:

That sounds pretty cool!

8 for the overal pic + 1 for the amazing details

I also can't believe you did the armor dings and textures by hand!

BTW, is the shotgun loaded? I see a incidental firing accident waiting to happen.. :-)

Armaina responds:

haha honestly, I can't believe I did it either x_x took a while but I'm pleased with the result. Heh her shotgun isn't loaded but her finger isn't on the trigger anyway.

It's okay but nothing more

I agree with a lot of what Aigis has to say. This picture is missing something extra. One thing that takes the power out of your picture are the colors. White background, white hair and grey skin. It makes the ribbon stand out, but I feel it is not enough.

Aside from some details (for instance lower arm relatively big), the overal drawing is decent, so you got a good starting ground to develop.

Finally, I must say your drawing is not all cliche, you didn't give your character massive airballoon boobs! :-)

Kosuk responds:

haha thanks man!

That's because..

he accidentically grabbed the blade instead of the hilt again.. :-)

landerscott responds:

ha,ha ha, yup,, you are probably right,,,, I drew it and never noticed that. Good Job.

Awesome x 3

Very cool machines, fit very well together, nice colorscheme. Especially from a distance they look awesome. And this is a compliment because that means the profiles are very good.
When you look at computer game monsters, they look often a square mess from a distance. Yours would look extremely good in a game!

TPSDude responds:

Thanks at least some people can give in depth compliments, I never thought of my work in that manner before, looking back I can see you point in my past works having all discernible silhouettes .

Interesting techniques..

This landscape looks almost surreal from up close. The desert floor looks a bit like paper, the stones stand out very clearly from the rest and look a bit shiny even?
I not sure if you meant it that way, but at least you have succeeded in creating a barren, empty dessert that is intersting to watch! :-)

TheL1st responds:

i agree, the rocks are rather shiny for their own good, i was going for an abstract-ish mirage look but not too much so that it gets trippy

Nice background for a game

Looks very sinister. I like the stretched size for this landscape picture.

TheL1st responds:

well vertical landscapes usually have less depth
